How do I rank up?

Unlike many of the guilds out there, we at Exsilium Reditum don't rank people up based on donations. While we appreciate Donations, what we are interested in is ~you~ as a person. We've all faced drama in our past, and we are determined to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Advancing past Rank 1: Don't suck. Seriously. As mentioned, we are interested in you as a person, not your character. If you wish to advance, join our Xbox parties and chat with us, let us get to know you. Help out once in a while. Once we are sure you don't suck (usually a week or two from recruitment, depending on how much you party up) you will be promoted. You will not get promoted by asking to be promoted.

Advancing Past Rank 2: Don't suck for more time. To get to rank 3 all you have to do is continue to do the same thing, but for a longer period of time. People have different playtimes and such, so this one will likely take a long amount of time. Don't let it get you down, its nothing personal. Our guild's leadership has all been wronged in the past from unexpected angles, and we are taking every precaution to ensure it doesn't happen again. If you make rank 3 it is because the rank 4's and up have agreed that you are the epitome of not suck. Congratulations. Again, Asking will not get you promoted.

Advancing Past Rank 3: This one is kind of tricky. Basically, you don't want to get past rank 3. Rank 4 begins our officer positions, and these are people that bear the weight of the guild on their shoulders. Rank 4's and up are the type of people that will let their own character suffer for the good of the guild. We will not force these ranks on anyone. If you want an officer position, have an idea of what you want to be an officer of, be prepared to make sacrifices for the guild, and then ask us. These are the only ranks that can be gained by asking. Don't bother asking if you aren't rank 3 already, it isn't happening, and it is just making us more suspicious.
